I am on a flight with my family to Korea for a meet with some friends I met in Korea. We get there but my mom is not organized and as I am trying to get the local currency and a subway pass but she doesn’t let me. Which is not normal for her. We get lost in the city and my brother and I lose mom. For some reason my brother looks younger than he is in real life. This american lady who is a police officer takes us to the address I give her. Somehow we end up in the woods after passing many different crime scenes and dead bodies. I cover my brother’s eyes but I still watch. Turns out I gave her the address of a case instead of our hotel in the city. The house is haunted and tries to get us to leave, we leave terrified and the officer then says to give her money. When she did not care in the beginning when we told her we had no local currency. We end up finding our way back on our own. The worst part being that I lost days of being back in my favorite city. We walk to a party for the middle of the week and I wake up unknowing where I am. It had been days and I completely do not know what happened to me. I had lost all memory of the past couple days. My mom sent me a text saying before with an alarm and ticket, saying I had to leave on my own. I ended up in Spain, where my mom’s tracker says she is driving to get me. Somehow I am in a plane on a highway, my mom picks me up yelling. But turns out this was her whole plan. I was miserable because I missed out on the trip. Getting back home we are putting halloween decorations up and my dad is still alive. He asks us when we got all festive for halloween. Turns out my mom knew he came back to life, many people came back to life. We had gone back in time. I wanted to tell him everything but I couldn’t bring myself too, my brother did not know though
Dreams can be highly subjective, reflecting our thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This dream seems to weave together various themes related to family dynamics, anxiety over control and organization, fear of losing freedom or direction, and the complexities of relationships, particularly with your mother and brother.
Here are some possible interpretations for the key elements of your dream:
Family Dynamics: The presence of your family indicates that these relationships are significant in your life. The dream may reflect feelings of frustration or a desire for independence, especially given your mother's uncharacteristically disorganized behavior. This could suggest a struggle between your desire for control and your reliance on others.
Loss and Confusion: Getting lost in a foreign city reflects feelings of uncertainty or lack of direction in your waking life. It may also symbolize a fear of losing touch with loved ones or being unable to support them when needed.
Youthfulness of Your Brother: The perception of your brother as younger may signify a desire to protect him or perhaps a feeling of needing to take on a more mature role in the relationship. It might reflect your protective instincts or responsibilities that you feel burdened by.
Haunted House and Crime Scenes: The ominous elements within your dream, such as encountering crime scenes and a haunted house, can symbolize your fears or anxieties. The haunted house might represent unresolved issues or feelings of guilt, while the crime scenes could reflect personal conflicts or fears regarding safety and stability.
Loss of Time and Memory: Waking up disoriented and feeling as though you've lost days suggests an anxiety over time slipping away, missed opportunities, or important life events passing by unnoticed. This could resonate with a feeling of regret or worry about not fully engaging in your experiences.
Back in Time: The idea that many people—including your father—come back to life suggests a desire for closure or reconnection with loved ones you may have lost or have unresolved feelings about. It could also denote a wish to revisit and correct past mistakes or memories.
Feelings of Misery and Disconnection: Your emotional response through the dream is significant. Feeling miserable after missing out on the trip indicates a sense of loss and perhaps feelings of being trapped in situations beyond your control.
Ultimately, your dream may reflect your personal anxieties and experiences. It emphasizes themes of family relationships, the struggle for independence, moments of confusion, and unfulfilled desires, possibly encouraging you to examine these aspects in your waking life. It may be helpful to think about current situations or relationships that could be influencing these dreams and explore ways to address any underlying issues.
